Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is in the right place as it's a pretty niche question.
I am about to buy a laptop and I am really picky about dead/stuck pixels.
Here in the UK we can return unwanted goods (ordered on the internet) as long as they haven't been used any more than you would in a shop to try them out.

So, I would like to test for dead pixels and, if present, send the laptop back.

But the laptop on first boot will obviously want to start Windows setup and that would possibly be more "use" than would be possible in a bricks and mortar store.

So, I thought, why not have a USB stick (bootable) with some kind of screen test util on it and boot from that via BIOS on first boot instead of the SSD.

I was just wondering if there is a ready made bootable image available with just the software I need ?

Any help much appreciated.
