Your getting a k series cpu, but wont be able to overclock unless you get a z170 mobo. I would suggest 2 x 8 gb sticks of ram. I would suggest a higher quality power supply, as such as any seasonic, superflower, newer evga and xfx power supplies.

But first off...and most importantly....
You have a Skylake CPU paired with DDR3. That won't work. You need to go with DDR4 RAM and the faster the better as it makes a big difference with SkyLake.
No point in using i7 with a GTX 970. You aren't getting any benefits at 1080P with 4 more threads.
And I don't think it looks like rain (LookItsRain jokes... lol). Getting a Z motherboard could be going for the SLI/Crossfire compatibility, as well as the ability to OC a locked CPU (by very little) through a bit of manual settings. And yes, DDR3 in Z170?! xDDD Love to see that happen for the hilarity.
Corsair RM series PSU (not RMx or RMi)? Very poor units.
