I've got a parts list put together. This will be my first build and I would appreciate it if you all would look over and give me a few pointers. It is right at my budget. I will be primarily gaming, but will also use be using it for schooling, and a movie every now and again. Here it is:

Thanks for your input!

Lots of areas you could improve. This build will game at higher settings then your build. And it will overclock nicely.

@ 1080p the r9 280 will not max out many newer games.

I Know that it can't max out any game at 60fps
but it can with 30+fps(playable for me :))

so many games which are capped or locked at 30 fps aren't playable to you?
PS4 runs many games at 30 fps
so isn't it considered playable ??

Haha. I remember the time a guy compared gaming on a PC to a PS4. If you like quality PC is king. And fps matters when playing 30fps against someone at 60fps.

I know that pc is superior in every aspect
but 30 fps is playable frame rate
if you are used to 60 fps then you will cease 30 fps
its not your fault
I don't have a enthusiast rig which would max out any game at 60+ fps
so I am used to 30-35 fps
sorry for arguing it was my fault [:jamesheller]
