Checking the Speed of Memory

Hello,
I am using a memory card which has the speed of around 1,600 mHz. I would like to know why the Task Manger, Performance section, shows 667 mHz. See image below.

The "DDR" aspect stands for "Double Data Rate".

667MHz x2 = 1333MHz, which is the JEDEC standard for DDR3.

Have you enabled the XMP profile to bump you to 1600MHz? Task Manager/CPU-z etc will show you 800MHz (DDR) x2 = 1600MHz.

Thank you for the information. I did not make any speed improvements. What is an XMP profile?

DDR3 ram ships @ 1333MHz stock. When you see "1600MHz" labelled on packaging, that's an XMP profile (in a simplistic sense, it's a pre-configured overclock of the memory) that can be enabled by applying the XMP profile in your BIOS.
