Hey everyone, hope your having a good day. So the title says it all. I mostly use my pc for gaming but I will need a keyboard that can be great for gaming and good enough for typing.

One of my worries is that the blue switches are going to get too loud for me after a while. BUT they are really good switches and I am really hesitating because they are the same price on the keyboard I want.

Any advice is welcome and if you have owned both give me your opinion !!! Oh and I mainly play cs go if that helps....

Thanks in advance Matthieu

I was in the same position as you not to long ago trying to decide what I wanted. A friend of mine picked up an MX Blue and while he tried it out the clicking drove me nuts but then I found this great guide.

After reading this I eventually went with a Brown and have been enjoying it ever since. My friend even returned his blue and went with the same brown as well and in this case it was the Logitech G710+.
Blues are advised for RTS gamers, MMORPG, MOBAs and typists who don't mind being loud. The extremely noticeable activation leaves you knowing that you did use whatever key you meant to press.

Reds for FPS gamers who don't do much typing. They have the easiest control over precision activation, and are very quick.

Browns are good for pretty much anything while remaining quiet. They are noticeable in their activation, but do not have a slight disconnect from their reset point like blues.

Well first thank you for REALLY quick answers.

So yeah reds are not for me since I want to know when a key is activated.

Neieus -> browns
Adviser -> what do you suggest ?

Browns, no question. There's a reason they are always out of stock.

This is what I thought too, but I just contacted QPAD (because I can't find any of their keyboards with Cherry MX browns; out of stock anywhere) and they said "we don't make keyboards with browns any more as there is not any real demands for brown switches".... They only make Red and Blue keyboards now... I want the browns...
