Hello, I recently bought a Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Blue Switches.

It looks great and types fine but there is one thing I noticed while typing on it. The letter "E" key in specific, keeps getting stuck when being pressed. Is this a defect in the key? Is there any way that I can fix it or should I just send it back?

I've read some reviews about the model of others also getting stuck keys. Is this a common thing will all Cherry MX Blue keyboards?
I've never had a MX Blue keyboard before so that is why I am not sure.

Thanks for any suggestions!

i used to have a wasd keyboard with cherry mx blues and never had key sticking issues. i'm not sure if the mechanisms are oiled or greased internally from the factory but you should not be getting sticking keys on a new board.

you could try lubing the keys https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=34332.0 however given its a new board i would feel better replacing it with one that is working correctly from the start and lubing later down the road if you have issues than trying to fix one off the bat as there is no guarantee that its a lubrication issue - it could be a defective key.

now, if you spill things in the keyboard or if it gets clogged with dust that can happen but not on a new board.

Thanks, so I am guessing it could be something wrong with the keyboard. It was brand new out of the box and the "E" key was getting stuck right away.
