Dunno if you mean VC or SA (I haven't played the latter) but in VC you only
have to make a certain number of sales to "pass" the mission (it's 50 or 60)
and the site then starts earning an income. Apart from that, it doesn't have
any effect on the rest of the game (passing the mission doesn't "unlock"
anything, at least not in VC).

'ice cream' sales is only in VC and when you reach 50 (I usually added
another couple on just in case, you have to get out of the van for it
to register as done. I think you can then return to the ice cream
place and do another if you wish but that first one has to be at least
50 and leave the van.

PS, dunno about pc or xbox but in ps2 version do not save your game at
the icecream place. It can corrupt your saves.

I only went back once after the mission - to take out those blokes on the
sanchez that were "taxing" it. I didn't even bother collecting its income -
the fear of meeting that gruesome woman again was too great.

:O) That particular mission, where you take out the riders... god I
hate that mission. It depends which businesses you have collected by
then to where you have to go to find the riders too

No problem. They have to rob them ALL, so you just pick one business and
wait for them to come to you.

I used to chase them with the Hunter, just to make it fun.

I've noticed that cops on foot only seem to spawn when you are on foot;
they don't seem to appear whilst you're in a vehicle.

don't you believe it, when I skanked that patriot they appeared
alright, a bloody big tribe of them. They do spawn more when you're on
foot though, I guess as they realise there's not much point in a foot
cop unless you're virtually stationary. They're ALL much better shots
that CJ, I can't shoot tires out on a moving car with a pistol!

Always use a vehicle when nicking the Patriot. Course getting out of there
with it intact is another thing.

for some reason the Sabre I was in decided to choose the small gap
before I reach the patriot to lose it. I had to either jump out or go
over the edge. I did put up a hell of a fight and if I hadn't stupidly
gone back for the damned patriot I might have escaped. I even got
aboard the ship but soon realised I'd only get off by water. Big
mistake... helicopters are amazingly good at shooting you when you're
on the sea bed!

It's quite annoying when you've been driving backwards and forwards
trying to make the Hunter spawn. When it finally does, you hop out on
foot to nab it and they spawn right behind you taking potshots at your
prize helicopter, so THEN you have to do a few vigilante missions to
get it back to full health before going on the rampage.

aargh! It drives me mental!

Not as bad as GTA3, popping back over to the first island to collect a
vehicle to sell and driving past someone who takes one shot at you
with a shotgun and blows you to little pieces
