Chevy venture windshield antenna connection

Hello, I recently had my windshield replaced, and now my radio reception is terrible. this morning, I found a tiny little connector lying on the floor of my van. I'm wondering if the technician broke this off the new windshield, or if it came off the old one during replacement. Where can I look to see if the windshield is actually connected to the cable??

nope...it was off the old one. then, i found the new one and it is connected. i'm thinking this after market windshield has a poor quality antenna built in. decided to buy an after market antenna that will stick to window just above mirror.
