Glad you're OK Moto, and it's understandable we're all preparing for the silly season, sometimes our play time has to take a back seat to our obligations, and working with my computer is like play time to me no matter what I'm doing with it, modding, experimenting, game playing, etc.
I've been experimenting using various CFM fans on the heat pipe cooler with my setup, attempting to find the hot side of the peltiers sweet spot temperature for maximum cold side cooling.
Peltier 101, The cold side effect, if the cold side is too cold it affects the hot sides temperature increase, discovered that when I tried to use ice chilled water to cool the peltiers hot side, it did not work!
The peltiers cooling is a balancing act to discover the proper heat range to allow the hot side to reach, in the same respect that the cold side can affect the hot sides results, the reverse can also happen if the hot side gets too hot it warms the cold side, degrading it's cooling performance.
So getting what you want from the peltier is a temperature balancing act.
The way your chiller is setup the hot side and cold side are independent of each other, the hot side is cooled with ambient room temperature, the resulting temperature produced on the cold side is distributed into the chiller box by a circulating fan.
They obvious have found the perfect fan balance to produce constant results in the chiller and obviously that peltier uses far less power than mine does, that's why I'm presently experimenting with various fans to get the max from the cold side of mine by the manipulation of the hot sides heat.
I know that sounds freaking crazy, OK!, but that's how it works.
