Surely Jensen must think people are idiots. He says two contradictory things, "There no evidence for AI chip diversion" and then says "export controls are a failure". Which is it? Make up your mind!

Of course it's all about money. He is deliberately not taking proactive steps to ensure compliance because as long Nvidia supplies chips there will very little incentive for Huwaei and Co to invest billions to make inferior chips that they cannot sell since vastly better alternatives are easily available.

Ultimately if he can undermine sanctions Nvidia wins. He just has to plead ignorance. Its up to the DOJ and FBI to find out how sanctions are being evaded and require Nvidia to close those export control loop holes. All of this stinks of corporate criminality with enablers at the highest levels.
