Hiring from your competition is a common practice in the tech sector. All this says is that the Chinese are desperate. Even if they do manage to find some experienced people willing to live in a tyranny for some time for money it won't help them much. Trade secrets are one thing but there's also patents, a ton of them, serving as the final legal barrier. Patents don't describe or teach anything nowadays, their purpose is to vaguely touch on all the things you aren't allowed to do and as many of them as possible.

Well! I don't get the logic thou. America and Alliances can porch talents and brains from China while China did the same, those people will be faced charges similar to traitors or even severe. WoW! China should change their national immigration policy to protect those taking the move by grant them permanent resident visa that will lead to citizenship.
