[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]You make it sound as if iOS is an original Apple product.Do a little research before making yourself foolish 🙂Neither the OS not the CPU are at their most basic level Apple designs. The CPU for instanc is a RISC based chip; certainly not something Apple dreamed up.[/citation]

You realize how ridiculous this sounds right? May as well say google didn't make android because it's linux based, or how no game company made their game because they didn't invent c++

[citation][nom]A Bad Day[/nom]I recall about last year in China, there was an advertisement for a cheap hexacore phone that had 24-karat edges.I laughed.[/citation]
And where is that?

[citation][nom]nebun[/nom]to bad it has all the bloat-ware that the android is known or...this is the main reason why I purchased an iphone5....[/citation]

iPhone user.... making duplicate posts to make a point ?
Makes you look superior to the rest of us 🙂

Got to go, my Samsung phone is ringing...

The thing of it is, taking Windows XP and an example, how much money has Microsoft lost due to blatant copying in China. There will always be a certain amount of cheap forgeries but in China the copies are done by large companies with deep pockets.

[citation][nom]monkeymonk[/nom]how come china gets away with counterfeiting everything[/citation]
Maybe you should go over to China and complain, then we'll see if you get out of their prison camps.

[citation][nom]house70[/nom]This is going straight into oblivion. I don't even think it will have a good market in China, let alone elsewhere. People that would buy that are the same people that buy fake brand-name watches, for instance; all they want is a shiny carcass around some crappy guts. This is not a phone for Android users, it's a phone for fools. This is so full of fail, IDK where to begin. Just... go back and read something about stuff you're trying to discuss before embarrassing yourself.[/citation]
And do you think there are not enough fools in the world to create a strong market for things like this?

I want one !
The power of android in an apple case without the freedom hating corporate locked down bullshit.

[citation][nom]freggo[/nom]To be fair to all the Apple fans, that IS indeed a case where a manufacturer has gone to far and makes the Chinese look bad. However, I am pretty certain that it is only a matter of time until the Chinese government begins to put restrictions on this sort of thing as it will begin to backfire.[/citation]

Lol, free market at its best!!!

actually looking at the specs it's quite good, rather pick the fake one rather than the original, even if it doesn't have stupid apple logo 😛

So its a phone for people who like apple. Thanks for clarification

Another one that has absolutely no idea what he's talking about... Geez, the world is full of them.

To those that think this phone would make a good deal, just look again at onboard 4GB storage and the minuscule battery. I stand by my first statement: this phone is for fools, and only because of these specs.

A company in China did patent the iPhone5 design (from leaked pics) in their country before the iPhone 5 was released. (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/iPhone-5-Fake-GooPhone-Patent-Leaked-Images-Specs,17452.html)
They have nothing to worry about.

Ya, that stupid US patent rule about first to patent, is gonna bite them hard in its own ass. LOL, stupid is as stupid does. I find this pretty funny.

[citation][nom]fat_panda[/nom]Now this stupid Chinese company deserves to be sued, not Samsung or Google or anybody else[/citation]

Nah, don't be naive, these companies will sue Apple before Apple gets into the market.
They dont' even have to sell real products, they just need to patent the design and ask Apple for settlement money.
This is genius, you can get super rich by doing this. Believe me, Apple will settle with them. It will take forever for the court to process these cases, and by the time court settled the case(regardless who wins), iphone 5 will be irreverent anymore, there'll be iphone 6 or 7 already.
They either pay to settle and get market share in China or fight court case and loss market share.

Apple is shooting itself in the foot for this one, if they patent the design before the release of the product then they'll giving up their secret, but if they want to release the product before patenting, then their design will be "stole" a million times before Apple has a chance to do anything.
Do you think those $2,000(Chinese dollar)/month iphone workers has any loyalty to apple or foxconn? they'll sell the design secret in a heart beat.

As I recalled, the GooPhone i5 is patent by China. Looks just like Apple's iPhone 5 (cloned). China learns how Apple steals from other company. Now Apple is getting a taste of its own medicine.

[citation][nom]killerclick[/nom]Apple should sue Google for this. It's not enough that Google stole many features of iOS, but now they're enabling hardware theft by making their copycat OS available to anyone.[/citation]

Well that was a joke if I didn't get it wrong. It is like suing Google for software pirasy, that was actual news some time ago... ;-)

Well in this case there really is real copycat problem in here, but there are so many fake rolex, senheiser headphones etc. in the market. In this case though they use their own brand, that is something new...
