chipset choice

ok my dilema is what chipset to choose from the Nvidia Geforce 2 MX or the Geforce GTS. In australia the price for an MX board is hovering around 250-300 and the GTS boards are roughly 400-500 and the almight GTS 2 is 650-1100 depending on config and if it is ultra or not. Now I am prepared to spend up too 500 or so on a new board and I just wonder what is better a GTS or an MX. Currently the monitor can only go up to 1024x768 but that is going to be upgraded soon too. I have no real problems with my performance in games with my current TNT2 Ultra but I want something to keep me going to keep up with newer game titles on my p3-667. What should I choose?

I would wait a little while.
It won't be long before the Geforce 3 will become available and i expect the price of the Geforce 2 to come down considerably when it does.
You might see the Geforce 2 come into your price range so you won't have to settle for the older Geforce or the somewhat performance crippled MX.

I'm still using a Voodoo II as I'm still using a 15" trintron monitor still. By the time I upgrade my video card, quantum computing will be standard.
