Hi, Thank you for replying. Does the chipset affect the processor speed and ssd read/write performance?
Yes it does.
What CPU/Chipset are you considering ?

I personally have a B450 chipset MB paired with a AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and an X470 Chipset MB paired with a Ryzen 7 3700x .
The B450 chipset MB (Asus ROG strix B450-F) did run my 3700x fairly well paired with 16 GB 3200 RAM but my new Asus ROG Strix X470-F paired with 3600 RAM performs even better.

Hi, Thankyou for replying. I have a i5 9600K. I need a motherboard with a chipset that can create multiple huge copies fast and also transfer files from external portable drives or USB drives TO the main computer ssd fast. Do you have any recommendations?

They will all do same thing, SATA3 can't be bottleneck for HDDs and SATA SSDs. For external storage by USB, USB3.1 is enough for any drive except external NVMe drives for which 2nd gen USB3.1 is needed to get full speed.

Hi, I have a i5 9600K. I need a motherboard with a high end chipset for making copies of large files really fast. What do you recommend?
