a local hardware technician replaced my laptop's inverter. It's just sad that when i got my laptop back the monitor was fine but i lost my wireless, usb ports, and and audio device. i returned it and the technician told me that the chipsets crashed (i really don't know if that's the right term). And all that we could do is to dispose the hardware. What could have been the reason for the crash(?)? Is there any chance that the new inverter had a conflict with my laptop chipsets? Please help.. really dumb in this field...

The chipset "crashed" when he opened the case to work on things. He needs to replace the motherboard which was probably damaged when they did the work.

You can try to install the drivers for the laptop again, but if it's a hardware issue, you won't be able to fix anything with drivers.
