I am not fluent in deep technical aspects of computer storage and I am having problems with my HDD: my windows keep corrupting itself on one bad shutdown and sometimes even without it. There is a slight noise coming from it (I think), so I'm not sure if the bad sectors are logical or physical. Anyway, I ran a chkdsk /f on my drive and here is the report. Can someone tell me if it is clean.

Also, If I should use another tool to check before replacing or repairing.

Solution
It states "0 KB in bad sectors" however.

Check Disk is a very basic level. I wouldn't trust it for 100% accurate resolves on if your hard drive is failing or not.

You are better off removing the hard drive, plugging it in as a secondary drive to another PC via a USB Adaptor and performing a full extented Diag test on it. I use WD Lifeguard program but there are 100s out there that can do the same thing.

It will take a few hours to run but give you way more accurate results.
