Chkdsk scaning every time

Hello, chkdsk is scanning every time while i am restarting my laptop(Windows XP). How to disable that?..

There is an error in the operating system start up files. Checkdisk is unable to repair it. Use the Microsoft operating system disk to repair, reinstall the operating system without reformatting, Backup the files before doing the repair installation. Turn off automatic updates.
