Choice between X370 and X470 motherboard

Hello,first time asking a question on the internet...So I am going to build a new PC and I would like to know what would be better between Gigabyte X370 Gaming 5 and Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming to use with a Ryzen 5 1600X...Only difference I think is important and really concerns me is the power phases,6+4 on the x370 and 8+3 "optimised for 2nd generation ryzen" on the X470

For 1600x even les VRM would be enough but better get x470 based MB, they are better optimized for memory and Ryzen2 processors.

Would the optimisation for ryzen 2 mean a handicap for ryzen 1 processors?

Even first gen Ryzen can benefit from x470 chipset at least on memory field.

I would get the X470 as you might end up getting a new CPU in the future, at least u have the proper mobo to fully support it.
