choice of hard drive,black or blue?

hi,
wanting to upgrade my hard drive and wonder is it better to go for a black drive as apposed to blue.is the black that much faster read write ?

Black, no question. The Blues are budget models and have higher failure rates. The Reds are even higher quality as they are intended for server or mission critical projects, but the Black series units are very good for consumer models.

If you can afford to, stay away from the power saving green or the budget blue models.
