I suggest you raise your budget another $20 - $25 and get the Samsung 850 EVO 120 GB. Personally I prefer the M.2 form factor, if you have the spare slot on your motherboard.

FYI: Your power supply brand and model are great. But I recommend that you raise your power supply wattage from 550 to 650. Even though 550 is clearly sufficient for a GTX 970, a EVGA G2 650 will allow you the freedom to one day upgrade to a GTX 980 Ti, without having...

actually i changed my stuff a little bit, now it looks like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jKTdK8

i did switch out the PSU to a cheaper one that provides 650W, still EVGA, the new GQ model. saw reviews are great, i don't need the best of the best anyways, i can save a few bucks on psu and put the money on the SSD.

one question tho. my mother board supports 2 M.2 slot. PCpartpicker tells me that if i use the M.2 i can't use the SATA III for my HDD anymore? is that true? also i changed out the GTX970 to a R9 390. People were saying 390 is more powerful and free-sync is getting better than G-sync!

"The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with a SATA Express port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA Express port is disabled."

No, it doesn't say that the SATA 3 (6.0 gbps) port is disabled. It's referring to the SATA express port. Also, it would disable 1 of 3 SATA Express ports. Honestly, I've never used SATA Express, and I don't fully understand it, so I'm not the right person to try to educate you about it. You'd be better
served by Googling it. I pasted a few results below. But whatever you find, it's not a big deal going with the 2.5" model instead of the M.2 form factor. I just think the M.2 is a lot cooler, and neater looking in the build.

PSU: Yes, I'm familiar with that model. There is a great review of it on JonnyGuru:

Be aware that it's semi modular, so there is one cable permanently attached to the power supply; the motherboard power cable.

GPU: Absolutely nothing wrong with opting for the R9 390. I've never owned it but I've read good things. I've not heard that free-sync is better than g-sync, but I will say that many of the free-sync models of monitors are less expensive than their g-sync counterparts. The X34 predator would be a good example.
