hi... pls choose me a best config for gaming @ 1080p ultra maxed out settings and some decent fps for games like bf4...and my budget is $1600

intel
i7 4770k
asus maximus vi hero
single gtx 780
8gb gskill 2133mhz
corsair tx850
wd 1tb blue
:

or

amd
amd fx 8320
asus M5A99X EVO
ati r9 280x crossfired
8gb gskill 2133mhz
corsair tx850
wd 1tb blue

Im more intel guy so 4770k is my choice.
But Id like better PSU. Look rosewill lightning 800-1000w- They are much better than Tx cossie.

Other option is super flower if you buy outside US.

And video card. Ati works in inteel systemm too so.. :)
And R9 270x CF is maybe enough :) You need CF 270X / 280X more wattage..

Id go with 1000w rosewill. Cheap and good reliability and awesome quality. 800w is bit cheaper.

The Intel build seems better. The i7-4770k is stronger than the FX-8320 in every way.
Also, a single, stronger card is always more welcomed over a SLI/crossfire set-up. You won't have to deal with dual gpu problems and it leaves you the option to SLI in the future as an upgrade path.

The Corsair TX850 should is a good quality psu and it is strong enough to handle SLI GTX 780s with headroom for overclocking.

Only thing missing from the Intel build is an aftermarket cooler to overclock the 4770k.

The 4770k is far superior. Also, I'd consider downgrading your ram to 1866mhz or even 1600 because you don't need any of that power for gaming, and it could also save you ~$25 or so. Your gps is fine, however if I were you, I'd get the gtx 770 instead and save me $100, remember, the gtx 770 is not bad, it plays everything on ultra, and the only difference between the 770 and 780 is ~10-15 fps. This is entirely your opinion, but I'm just putting it out there.

can you please post a benchmark link for gtx 770 vs gtx 780...??

you said 4770k is superior but will it be last for atleast 2years because it will be considering future proof a little bit since not all the 8cores are physical one as in the fx 8320....?? i know nothing is future proof but atleast i7 will last for 2 years for gaming @ ultra maxed out setting @ an avg 60fps??

Here's a performance comparison between the gtx 770, 780, and other gpu's: testing on one of the most demanding games on the market, crysis 3.

An i7 will last for more than 2 years for games. The i7-2600k was released several years ago and it can still play games very well today. Even the i5-2500k, released the same time as the 2600k, can play games very well. Since games aren't really processor dependent, they can last a long time. The main thing you want to look at is the gpu.

My budget is also around the same. I would love to find out what you finally make a decision on as I too am buying parts soon. To answer your question, if you have the money, hands down, get Intel. If you want more power for your dollar, get AMD. Both are practically the same, do the same thing. Only minor differences that are most discussed about on here is that AMD runs a bit on the high temperature side and Intel is good for video editing and runs cooler. Intel supposedly has more power per core, but it is minimal in some instances. Any other information that people give to you will be their OWN OPINION (fanboys).
