Choose between Mobile vs Ultra processor

Hi

I am confused between 2 laptops

1) HP 15D004TU (Core i3 / 3110m 2.4 GHz / 15.6 screen)
2) HP 15N209TX (Core i5 / 4200u 1.8 Ghz upto 2.6 Ghz / 15.6 screen)

i3 has clockspeed of 2.4 GHZ and on the other hand i5 will turbo boost at clockspeed of upto 2.6 GHZ

So i am confused which will perform better between the two ??

I will be using it for webdesign with softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and net surfing with mutliple tabs of firefox.

If your using multithreaded applications i would recommend a i7 processor, but the i5 choice is also good since, its a low power consumption chip but will boost to 2.6 if needed.

And choose something with a good amount of ram 8gb.

But it depends on especially the graphics card in determining which will play games better.

The turbo boost will get enable when photoshop needs it or when Processor thinks its time to enable the turbo boost ?

yes basically.

as i have said, the i5 you choose is a power saving chip, hence the low clock speed, but will boost to 2.6 if needed.

For how many hours can Turbo Boost remain active continuously ??

Can Turbo Boost remain active for 6-8 hours continuously without any issues ??
