[SOLVED] choose between msi mpg z490 gaming plus and msi z590 torpedo

hello i want to upgrade my 6700k and z170 . but i am stuck between the gaming mb series of msi (z490 gaming plus ) and z590 torpedo. the cpu will be the 10700k but which mb you should recommend? the price of both mbs are the same. usage is gaming

I would vote for the updated Z590 based motherboard on general principles.

I see nothing wrong with the Z590 torpedo.
MSI is a reputable brand and the motherboard has decent vrm cooling.
When products get updated, they tend to get better.

ES chips are a serious gamble with your money, they could have bugs, be limited to a certain clock frequency etc

Unless you are a multi-millionaire and like to gamble, don't buy one, buy the real thing.
