I've got 2 monitors in mind both around 250$ and almost the same features :
Asus VG248QE 24-Inch LED-Lit Monitor
AOC G2460PQU 24-Inch
which one is better?

I'd go the Asus, have had some AOCs which were OK, but prefer the Asus
