The second one withe the GTX1060 will make a far bigger difference for games than the CPU, and you will save more money.

The i5-8400 is more than enough for a GTX 1060 (it's also good with a GTX 1080 Ti), so I would choose that one. Plus it has an SSD. It's cheaper so it seems like you could upgrade the GPU to a 6GB model or even a GTX 1070 for the same price of the other system.

Definitely the second one. Of much, MUCH higher value. The 1060 is a good bit more powerful than the 1050 Ti, plus that SSD will really speed things up. As others have said, use the savings to see if you could upgrade to 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 6 GB.
