i want a large monitor on my new build mainly for work and occasionally movies. Rarely games.
I think I will go for a IPS type monitor.
My choices are between
Asus ROG Strix XG43UQ 43”
LG 43UN700
Samsung QLED TV QE43QN90DATXZT
Samsung OLED TV 48" QE48S90DAEXZT
My first pick was LG as it was cheaper a few month ago but now seemingly unavailable in Italy anymore. I then moved for Asus, as this comparison give Asus as superior and by the view angle and technology It seems being an IPS one.
The other two picks are TVs and comparatively a bit cheaper being suggested by this article. Here the question is: does the IPS advantages in terms of color, angle, dpi, text clarity matter on 40''+ monitors where I need necessarily to stay at a distance?
