Choosing 1Tb HDD for data (WD10EZEX vs WD1002FAEX)

I'm trying to make a choice between Blue and Black series of WD, 1 Tb model.
My system already has an SSD for OS and a 250 Gb WD Blue (WD2500AAKS) hard drive for data that I've been using for 5 years already.

Now, I know the general differences between WD's colored series and that Black is supposed to be faster & stronger, but what concerns me is noise and the fact that for these particular models some tests show higher reading speed for Blue than for Black. I assume this is due to Blue using 1 platter with higher data density. Moreover, I heard using 1 platter makes drive less prone to physical damage. In addition to that, at my local store's website I see more negative comments on Black drive than about Blue. I looked at Newegg and even there there's slight but similar difference. All this makes the choice very complicated for me.

My priorities are high reliability and silent work, since my PC is being on almost 24/7, but I mostly use it at night. I'm using a Zalman Z9+ case with lots of coolers, that would provide enough noise to cover the HDD's own, but at the same time this case has a lot of open space on its walls making it easy to hear all the noise from inside. Also, I have computer case standing on the desk in less than half a meter away from me, as opposed to having it be on the floor.

As for typical usage, aside from general data storage and games, I'm going to seed a lot of torrents from it with high-speed connection, which implies constant reading usage and thus possible reading noise and wearing.

I'm leaning towards Blue model, since the Blue I'm having now turned out to be very reliable and silent enough, and despite the longer warranty on Black, my local store only gives 1 year warranty for any goods. The only problem with Blue I'm having is low random access time (if I understand it correctly), when I open a folder with a lot of folders and/or pictures inside it takes lots of time to appear and response time of Explorer gets long. It doesn't depend on fragmentation.

Sorry for a long post, I just wanted to list all possible factors affecting the choice. I'm slow when it comes to upgrading my PC and whatever I buy usually stays with me for a long time, so I want it to be a good thing.

I have a black for game and media storage and it makes some noise at startup for about 3 seconds and then I never hear it again. I have been doing a lot of downloads and transfers and the speed is really solid, and the temps are good but that varies for each person's set up. As far as opening folders and whatnot, everything is very fast and responsive and I have used up about half of the 1TB so far. I plan on getting a blue as a 3rd drive in the future for more all around storage, i.e. anything except games, so in your set up I would recommend a black.

Thanks for the answers.
Bought the Black one, it's quite loud during access times and the OS I installed on it for testing (Win 7 x64) works rather slow. Maybe I just got used to fast and quiet work of SSD but still it doesn't look very comfortable. Considering that I will be using it mainly for data storage this shouldn't concern me, but I just wonder whether the drive is okay.
Speaking about which, do these HDD Tune test results look fine?

The speeds seem to be okay, but the graph is rather irregular. In general, are there any ways to find what test results for a given HDD are considered good so that people can compare their own against them? It's easy to find the main reading test results like this one, but there are also other ones, like file and random mode.
