I'm looking for a 24" screen with 1920x1200 resolution. My primary interest is to have good quality display color and contrast. I realize that the less expensive TN screens are limited to some extent, but I'd like to get a decent quality image without getting an expensive professional display.

So, is anyone familiar with these screens? Please comment on which of these likely have better image quality. Feel free to suggest other similar monitors that might be good.

What budget do you have?

I have recently got this one, only one apart from this I have used extensively is the dell 2405fpw.

However, one point of advice you should note is that contrast ratio does not necessarily indicate the black level of the monitor.

Out of those linked I would get the 2443BWT solely because it comes with the most adjustable stand but that is just me, I have a thing for adjustable stands.

Well that one is a bit more than I was planning on spending. I'm not planing on spending more than 350-400 or so. I'm guessing this pretty much limits me to a TN screen, but perhaps I can still get something decent.

I do realize that the posted specs of these monitors do not completely define the monitor in regard to things such as black level. This is why I'm inquiring here.

Also, I'm looking for a 16:10 instead of a 16:9 because having more vertical screen space is very useful to me.

Does anyone have any advice for monitors around this screen size and near my budget?
