1. Pcpartpicker misses the boat again.... the MSI is $320 on newegg
2. It's not about the few faster MHz of speed.... It's about the 6+2 power phases, use of thermal pads in memory and VRM, fan shutoff at cooler temps, independently controlled fans, Hi-c CAP and Solid CAP type capacitors and Super Ferrite Chokes which provide for reduced heat, longer life and quieter operation.
3. It comes down between the Gigabyte and the MSI .... Giga has an issue due to its length (12.28") as it won't fit in some cases. I prefer the MSI .... It's the quietest .... Asus / EVGA ain't even in the running as I haven't seen a review yet where they broke 1500 MHz (Giga and MSI just about always do).
