Choosing a Gaming Monitor

I need help choosing a gaming monitor.

I am currently using a 22" samsung LCD.

I am considering:

Viewsonic VA2702W 27" $245.99

ASUS VE276Q 27" $286.99

My Budget is at $300. I am leaning towards buying the ASUS. The only thing holding me back is weather or not I am able to get a warranty. On the newegg website, the VE276Q is listed http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236091 and states "3 Year Warranty". Will I get that same warranty weather I purchase from Amazon or Newegg?

I like the Asus monitor more as well because it has a display port which really helps if you ever consider doing eyefinity (triple monitors). Also the Asus has vesa mounts which will allow you to either wall mount it or use a desk mount. And I am pretty sure whether you buy from newegg or amazon, the warranty will be the same since it is covered by the manufacturer after a certain number of days and not the retailer.

I also checked out the Asus website and it shows a 3 year warranty. Also good luck with your purchase.

Well it looks like Im going to be buying the ASUS VE276Q unless anyone has a better option
