Question Choosing a GPU on a 60Hz monitor.

So some background: I am trying to choose a good graphics card that won't be overkill for my monitor(P2411H)Which is 60Hz and it would be on 1080p gaming not 1440p
I may upgrade the monitor in the future so if there is a good GPU between these I would appreciate it
PS.I am stuck on the XFX 570 8GB and the XFX 580 8GB Any ideas?

8GB 3000Mhz RAM
B450 DS3H MOBO

I think there is a certain amount to be said for "future proofing" a GPU purchase. Where I agree that the 580 is a good buy, specifically now for 1080/60 gaming at high levels, where is that going to leave you a few years from now?

On that same note, there are a lot of people who feel that buying at that "type" of level every couple of years rather than higher less often is truly the best value.

I have personally been along the lines of buying mid range cards every few years and upgrading. I recently decided to upgrade my purchase experience and went with high end cards for both my gaming rigs. I would have a hard time looking back now.

580 is a great card, if you can get the 590 you also get 2 free games - Division 2 and World War Z (I dont think you get it for 580) So thats $130 in games you can keep or just sell
