Which motherboard do you guys recommend? These are the ones im looking at. Cheaper is better but I don't want to sacrifice performance, and i need a minimum of 3 usb 3.0 slots but 4 would be ideal.

MSI Gaming Z170A GAMING M5 LGA

GIGABYTE GA-Z170XP-SLI (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151

ASRock Z170M Extreme4 LGA 1151

I was originally going to get the ASRock but I read somewhere that the speed of the sata ports is misleading. It claims 6gbs but its actually bottlenecked to 4gbs because of some technical information I don't remember.

Do these other boards have limitations as well?
What do you guys recommend?

You guys have been extremely helpful for a newbie like me. I really appreciate it ! :)

Both the Gigabyte and MSI boards are good. The MSI board is more expensive but has more features including USB 3.1 and having a type C connector. The Gigabyte board is less expensive but has fewer features. The MSI board will also allow for easier overclocking and also has better quality built in audio. The choice is up to you between more expensive with more features and less money but also less features.
Hope this helps! :)

Thank you. Would that mobu fit in this case? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-spec01redled

Yes both of those boards will fit in that case. Make sure to select best answer please. :)

The MSI board will not allow for easier overclocking as all 4 of these reviews complain about it:

I didn't look at the features, but Gigabyte boards are considered some of the most reliable (probably #1), while MSI boards are less well regarded.

Thanks for the input!

What about this board?

Asus z170 Pro Gaming

Is it good? Is it easy to overclock ?

Yes, the Asus boards are nearly as reliable as the Gigbyte. With the 5 way optimization software, overclocking is easy. Watch one of the Asus youtube videos on 5-way optimization.

This Gigabyte UD3 board is very nice with 10K rated capacitors, 2x copper PCB:

Thanks for the help ! I think i will get the Asus because it has more usb 3.0 slots, but gigabyte looks good too!

Both the Asus or the Gigabyte are both excellent choices. I took a look at the connections. The Asus has one additional USB 3.0 port on the rear, but 2 fewer USB headers on the internal MB:
