Question Choosing a monitor

I've recently built my first pc (still waiting to get my hands on a 3070 however).

I'm looking for a monitor that will mainly be used for WoW, a few other games and possibly a bit of AutoCAD work.

I'd like to be able to run some games at relatively high graphics settings and therefore need a monitor that matches it. I'd ideally like as wide a monitor as possible but I've scoured various articles, reports and reviews and I can't seem to come to a conclusion on what would be best to buy. I'm trying to future proof my setup a bit hence the 3070.

I'm unsure whether I'd be better going wider monitor / lower spec or vice versa. I think I might be better getting a smaller screen size (say standard 21" but make it 144hz 4k) and worry about another monitor in the future?

As an example, I've been looking at like these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08FXZVJH6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_seCKFbKZD5TX8 (unsure as never heard of brand)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PHSBC4F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ofCKFb4RX7469

I'd like to spend a maximum of say £400 so I know I'm limiting myself a bit.

Can any please help point me in the right direction of what to look for/give me a recommendation?
