Choosing a Motherboard which is compatible

I want to upgrade my motherboard and my ram, however I don't know what will be my best option.

My current motherboard is a msi z97 pc mate.

A motherboard of the same size, same compatability however with more to other, preferably with plenty of fan portts. Overclockin isn't important as a selling point


So long as the motherboard is of good, reliable quality and is compatible with my components that will be fine, and am not sure on ram.

My current hardware is:
Case is a zalman z11 plus mid tower
Intel i5 4690k Cpu
Gigabyte geforce 1070 gpu
Xfx 650w xtr
1600 low vengeance corsair ram
