Hello everyone,
I have been having some faults with my new PC and have found that the problem is caused by my PSU being a too low wattage and not being high enough quality. I would like to replace this with one that is better and will allow my PC to run properly again. My previous PSU was an LC-Power Super Silent Series 550W Bronze Certified and I would like to upgrade to a 650W Gold Certified. My options so far are: Corsair RM650i (140CHF), Seasonic G-650 (136CHF), and the Cooler Master V650 Semi Modular. They are all 650W Gold Certified PSU's. I am planning on buying the new PSU from either Digitec (which is where I got the prices from) or 1000ordi; these are stores in Switzerland and use Swiss currency (CHF).

If you have any advice on which of these three I should get please tell me and/or if you feel like you know of a better option and you can find it on the Digitec or 1000ordi website please tell me that as well. I would like to keep the price under 150CHF.

Thanks for the help!

Hey hey, to be honest with you, a PSU is a PSU. There really aren't any MAJOR differences between all of them except the make and the wattage, that's about it. Granted some are made with cheaper parts than others, all of them generally do their job well.

However, since you mentioned one of my personal preferences of Cooler Master, I recommend that one. I have one of their cases as well, it helps to keep the whole unit cool.

Also, what has led you to determine the PSU is too low of a wattage? Has anything else fried as well?

I've spent a while on the forums trying to figure out the problem i'd been having, it seems that some of my components are not getting enough power to function properly, however the problem isn't completely sorted out yet. Very confusing situation i've found myself in.
