Choosing a Portable Hard Drive

Hey everyone!

I need some help choosing a portable hard drive. Im looking for one thats about 1TB in capacity, and is reliable. Those are pretty much the only design constraints! I just dont know which ones are good nowadays, previously Ive had one that had bad firmware, and I'd quite like to avoid that again soo....any suggestions? Price is a consideration, but if its worth it Ill pay it. The primary media would be movies and pictures.

I have a seagate 1.5TB external drive and it has and is working great even after 3 yrs. I only use it for pics,movies..etc.
