Hello,
So it stands between two different computers so I would need some tips

1. Lenovo Legion Y540 17 '' with 1660 Ti, i5, 8gb RAM, 256gb SSD and 1tb HDD
1090$

2. Lenovo Legion Y540 15 '' with RTX 2060, i7, 16gb ram, 1tb SSD
1300$

My budget was supposed to be around 10k and I initially wanted a 17 '' screen but the other 15 '' has better specs and I think it will last longer?
I want a computer I can keep for at least 5 years and maybe no2 is a better option.
But I also think if no2 may get higher temperatures when playing demanding games, you may know this better than I do.. What i've read the i7 isnt so necessary but I might have got it all wrong.

Would be nice to receive some tips and thoughts on which one is most value for the money.
Thanks!

(Im no hardcore gamer but I want an allround computer that I can play games on, and that will keep up for a couple of years)

the 1660 ti mobile isn't much slower then the 2060 mobile, maybe 5 fps. If you can find a config with a 9750h and a 1660ti an 16gb ram for less then the 2nd option, I'd go with that.

But if it's just those two configs, the second option is better for longevity, yes, it'll be warmer by 10 centigrade, but it has a large ssd, 16gb of ram and a 6 core cpu.
