Choosing between i3 8130u and i5 8250u

Hello guys i want to buy a laptop with an Nvidia mx 150 gpu and 8gb ram as for cpu its between the i3 and i5 I will mainly use it for college work , programming and gaming. I won't need to render videos because i have a pc which will handle that if need to , so do i really need the power of the i5 or the i3 is good enough for the tasks that im gonna throw at it ? As for price difference going with the i3 is 200 BGN cheaper .

I'd go for the i5 4c/8t
But the main thing in a laptop is that you have enough Ram and an SSD over raw cpu power.

I could get a 240 gb SSD for the price difference. Will the power of the i5 be well pronounced in gaming bc honestly i think i can get away with the i3 and get the SSD and still save some money and if I really need something cpu intensive i've got a 4690k in my pc . I can't seem to find benchmarks done with the i3 mx 150 combo its mainly i5 mx 150 or i3 but mx 130 .

If you want to game you should be using the 4690k, I'd be happier with the desktop Alot easier to upgrade and play with.
But SSD will make a good speed boost

I am but i want a laptop to do my college stuff and that can game a bit when i need it on the go.
