choosing between laptops gtx or rtx

theres is a ROG Zephyrus GX501 gtx 1080 for 1899.99 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAHJM8N55013 at newegg that is from 3999.99 and i want to know if i wait for the new rtx laptops im planning to buy a rtx 2070 ASUS GL504GW-DS74 for 1999.99 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834235123
so i should wait for the rtx to be release or i buy the gtx 1080.

Up to you if you want to wait. If you don't care if you need to wait, then newer model is most often better to get.
