Hello! I am using a Ryzen 5 5600x which I bought about a week ago. So I am with the stock cooler and I will use it for only playing games. I was wondering if it is necessary to buy an aftermarket cooler? I don't think I will overclock it because it wont give me much gains. So should I buy an aftermarket air cooler or AIO , my case is Fractal Design Focus G and 240mm is best for me. I was looking for some AIO but I think I don't want to spend that much money on the cooling and go for something budget.

Solution
Is it necessary? No, but a stronger cooler does lead to higher automatic boost clocks, which is part of the reason why overclocking has lost some face.
