so when choosing a graphics card what is the most important key features for gaming...that we must look into...well at least for a well balanced settings n performance...on my native resolution i.e, 1600×900

Solution
Get the Gigabyte R9 270 for $179 and you wont have to sacrifice anything at that resolution ( Assuming that you have a balanced PC)

my budget would be about 170 usd...i play games FPS n Fighting games alot n wud like to play newer games in medium 2 high but most important to me when playing games wud b a good fps...so that means i wud sacrifice sum settings to low if i have to......wud like to play...newer games...for eg in first person shooter games like crysis 3 n in fighting games injustice...

As maktovic said, you can get Gigabyte R9 270. If you are able to slightly increase your budget, MSI R9 270X can do better things. You can keep settings @ ultra/very high. But I think it would be very easy to get the facts after knowing your system's configuration.

i have a fx 6300 black edition cpu...4gb ram...500W psu...and gt 610 2gb (which i was impressed by the ''2 gb" part which i later came to regret)...if thats ol u need 2 know...

Then, you can go with the same graphic card mentioned above and by the way, 2x4GB DDR3 RAM would be better.

well i was jus wondering if there was another card @ da same price same performance but a little less power hungry card...if not then i wud stick with this card

At that price with SAME performance which consumes less power there's not any graphics card.

Though you can get GTX 750 Ti for less price which consumes only 60-65W power at load from board itself. But its performance is quite inferior to 270.
With a good quality PSU you shouldn't be even looking at 750 Ti if you can get 270

First and most important of all r9 270 is better performer than 650 Ti boost.

Secondly 650 Ti Boost is hard to find.

Also peak power consumption of 650 Ti Boost and R9 270 is 135W & 150W respectively and that's not much of a difference.
