Choosing my antispyware

ok im about to choose my anti spy ware to go with my new build and windows 7.

iv looked at

kaspersky --- 54.99 - 35.00 instant = 19.99
McaFee --- 59.99 - 30.00 instant = 29.99
bit defender --- 24.99
panda --- 19.99

in general they all do about the same and bla bla bla but what one is the easiest to use and has the easiest interface and set up and all that.

on the lap top im using i don't have any anti virus or anything but i do use free malewarebytes and free atf cleaner.

are the big ones listed about like that where you have to run them for 50 min then hit delete all or do they run the entire time your on the computer.

Avira or Avast free plus malwarebytes free edition and superantispyware,plus pc tools firewall plus.all are free and make a great security suite!

Avira is great if you don't mind it popping up at the most critical moment in a excellent Left 4 Dead session. Ccleaner and Mbam are awesome, although if you have decent enough AV (and enough brain) you won't even need Mbam. Where do you get that instant off deal? I recently bought Kaspersky IS 3 user for $35 I believe. Perhaps the one you are looking at is single user?

Avast, Avira, and Microsoft Security Essentials are my top AV suggestions. All are free, and all are very good.

I still like AVG. You have that, and run mbam, and spybot search and destroy, you should be good.

BitDefender. Had it for 6 months no problems get. It keeps your computer running fast too.

Couple of other freebie tools, check out auslogics registry cleaner and auslogics disk defrag. The registry cleaner seems fairly safe, and can help tune things up, the disk defrag I like better than the built in windows defrag, seems quicker, and both are free.

I agree with you except I use Microsoft Security Essentials instead of Avira. It's free, I've never had any problems, and it catches everything. Even the security definitions are integrated with Windows 7 updates. It's very nice, simple, and easy to use. I went from Norton to McAfee and I got tired of them eating up resources on my old computer. You might want to take this into consideration when choosing a new antivirus.
