Choosing new monitor

Guys, I'm planning to build a gaming setup. I want the AOC Agon G2460PF 24" 144hz 1ms Gaming Monitor with AMD freesync and I want to pair it with MSI gaming x GTX 1060 6Gb. I want to try 144hz because it helps especially in fps games due to smoother animations ( I play pubg and csgo ).

Is it a good combo? Will it work just fine? Any suggestions will help :)

I'm far from an expert but if you're using a gtx 1060 I would think that you'd want to purchase a monitor with g-sync as it supports that gpu. Unfortunately, g-sync monitors are usually marked up quite a bit in price.

FreeSync and G-sync aren't even worth it imo. Because it introduces input lag.
