choosing right components

hi all, for a while now I am choosing components for my new build, so i have some questions
1. z97 vs z170
2. haswell vs skylake
3. will these motherboards be compatible with new nvidia generation pascal cards

I've heard good things about skylake, so would definitly go for that. when we talk motherboard, i would go for z-97

And no, it will not fit - i've checked some pics of the new generation of GPU, and it don't look like it will fit, then it need some fancy as cable to connect 😀

It depend on your budget. skylake is still bit more pricey than haswell.
and yes the new gpu should fit.

If your leaning towards a I 5 or I 7 then you need a good Z97 BOARD...If you leaning towards Skylake build then you need a Z170 BOARD and DDR4 MEM.
