Ok so im building a new gaming pc and ive chosen all the parts except the PSU, Im not sure what wattage I need exactly, I have all the parts chosen on pcpartpicker and the estimated wattage is 316w, now im pretty sure i read on one of the many threads ive read that PSU's run most efficiently at 50% load so I doubled the wattage and chose accordingly.

Ive narrowed it down to these two:

Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W

Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W

Now the Thermaltake will end up being $45 after MIB and the Rosewill $41 after MIB

Are these PSU's any good? Will they fry my components? Is this the right wattage to be looking for?

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: I will be purchasing everything within the next 2 days except the CPU, mobo and Operating system.

Budget Range: a semi flexible $750 (for the PSU about $50 maybe a little higher like 60-65 but that would take away from the mobo budget...)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, browsing, music, movies etc

Are you buying a monitor: Eventually

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No preference, a good deal is a good deal.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Duryea, PA, United States

Parts Preferences: none

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe but not anythime soon

Your Monitor Resolution: ill be using a 720p tv as my monitor for the time being

My build: i5 3570K, Zotac GTX 660 2gb, ASRock Z77 Pro3 mobo

If you are just running a single gpu setup, then 600w is plenty. I would probably go around 750 to 1000(slight overkill) since you are wanting to SLI/Crossfire eventually.

I really can't recommend either of the two you listed. You want something that is AT LEAST 80+ Bronze certified and from a trusted PSU brand. This is includes Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, Antec, etc.
