ive been playing Battlefield 3 and i noticed when i move my gun or cursor, its a little choppy. when it should be smooth. it is difficult for me to point the crosshairs on an exact target.

i do not think that it is a frame rate issue. i use fraps and it's at a solid average of 45 frames even when it's happening..

I have a AMD 6850
the resolution i play on is 1920x1080 60hz on high

CPU is AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE 3.2ghz
gigabyte GA-970A-D3 mobo
8g ddr3 1600 ram
650w PSU
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

my suspects:

maybe the mouse as in a dpi issue? im not too sure im new to PC gaming
its almost like its skipping some dots or pixels. and it makes it look choppy or skiddish.

i ordered a new mouse and it should come in tomorrow so maybe that will fix it.
i do not recall it doing this for the beta.. and when i play Arma 2 its smooth.

OR

maybe it has something to do with drivers? i built my PC before the beta.. and installed the newest drivers.. then the beta drive for BF3. and now i just installed the newest driver for the retail game..
the problem did not happen with the beta driver
i was going to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. but i was wondering. which ones i should get. i think the only ones i have are 11.10

would i need to install them in order?

like i said these are my guesses. i would hate for it to be my actual graphics card. this is the first time im seeing this..

Any ideas on how to fix the probelm?

I have the same problem with 6970+6990 trifire. Choppiness even at over 100fps.

My guess is this is due to BF3 being the glitchiest, laggiest game I ever played. And AMD drivers being crap. My advice would be to wait. And to complain loudly in the BF3 forums.

hameem get your own thread!! haha jk but seriously try Battlefield 3

on a more serious note, my drivers are up to date.. i was gonna uninstall and re install them but was wondering if i should get diff ones. i only have 11.10s maybe i should start with 11.9 and the caps. idk tho.. like i said im new to the whole pc gaming and video drivers and such..

i was gonna maybe uninstall the latest driver and see if that does it because the BF3 beta did not have this problem.
