So my girlfriend has agreed to buy me a video card for Christmas and a family member will be buying a processor, that has pushed me too finally get around to doing a build rather than just thinking about it. I could use any and all advice. What do you all think?

Looks like it will be a strong build. The Supernova NEX is rather average quality. I recommend the EVGA Supernova 550 G2 as a higher quality alternative. If you intend to do SLI later on you could go with 650 watts.

I do not see what you're getting at posting a list ~$170 more expensive than what I posted. I assume it is better, but in most cases if I found $200 more to spend of course I would build something better. What is it specifically to get out of this?
