Chrome and other browsers not displaying video at all

So I have no idea what happened but last night I was watching Netflix perfectly fine, a little slowly but I was downloading other stuff. Then today when i came back home from work I went to binge watch for another 3 hours and it loaded Netflix I logged in, clicked on the show i wanted to watch, it loaded the menu bar for video scrolling and, nothing, displays the very first frame and does not play. Loaded it on other browsers, again nothing.

Chrome uses most up to date flash player(my chrome is up to date as well) I've installed all necessary video software needed, re installed all of it nothing, i didn't bother re installing chrome because if it doesn't work in IE or a fresh install of Firefox, I don't think it will make a difference. I've done the whole disable "hardware acceleration when available thing" didn't work. Cleared browsing history and cache and cookies.

Please help! I can't live without Netflix! 🙁

so, again have no idea how this fixed it, but I unplugged my headset and plugged it back in and it works now

so ya try that if you have this problem

netflix doesn't use flash, it uses Microsoft silverlight; try re installing silverlight
