Question chrome default sync email

Can't find a suitable forum group for this. I have 2 emails associated with crome and it's sync method. I have even deleted the old one but it still uses it.

Now when I try to turn sync on I get:

This account is already being used on this computer by Desmond (xxxx@googlemail.com).

Is there anyway to set the sync on permanatly?

So 2 gmail accounts?

if you used Gmail Settings > Accounts and Import > Import from another address, there should be a remove link at the right of the entry. Using this should stop the import.
If you used Check email from other accounts, there is a delete link to use. Check for this one anyway as the Import option might have created this entry.
