chrome.exe - Bad Image

I tried opening Chrome and it gives me this error:

Any advice? I tried reinstalling and restarting, doesn't work.

Hi,

Try doing a clean install of Google Chrome.
- Use a 3rd party uninstaller that deletes everything or left traces of Google Chrome.
- Here's a sample of a 3rd party uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-professional-version.php
- Once you've completed uninstalling Google Chrome try reinstalling it again.

- If it doesn't install still do run a complete virus/malware scan as well.

Nope. Doesn't work. I completely deleted all the Chrome(with "Chrome" in it's name) stuff but it still won't work. Yes I did use that program AND did a malware scan, I think the problem is that yesterday Windows updated. I was using Windows 10 for months without problems, but since yesterday's windows update Chrome doesn't work anymore.

Hid.dll is Human Interface Device. Mice, USB's etc. Problem has been around a long time.

Here is something that may help, it's Vista but applies to all OS's.
